HINDI DAY

‘ Pragya ’ the Peterian observation of the Official Language Day- Hindi Diwas commemorated under the guidance of the Hindi Department with a variety of programmes. Students were encouraged to prepare a greeting card in Hindi in connection with Teachers Day on September 5. September 11th onwards students adorned their classrooms and decorated the bulletin boards with charts, posters, slogans, and Hindi letters.

On September 12th a flavorsome food exhibition of mouthwatering North Indian dishes and chats was inaugurated by the Principal by cutting a cake which the students prepared.  Students exhibited their culinary expertise and explained the magic of North Indian Flavors to the visitors. An entertainment corner was also set up at the exhibition hall by the students with a Rajasthani puppet show with music.Classes 1 to 5 observed the day on September 13 by conducting the morning assembly with a variety of events like recitation, Krishna Leela dance, Group song, and speech.

 On the 14th of September, the morning assembly was organized by classes 6,7&8, which included speech, recitation, group song quiz, doha presentation, and group dance. The group song presented by the school choir was written and directed by Mrs.Supriya Manoj , Hindi Faculty of the school.

The Senior students were given a chance to relax and rejuvenate in between their hectic academic schedule through music as they presented kavyajali and chitrahar which included powerful poems and Bollywood songs and Dance.
