World Photography Day

Photography is the art of capturing moments and memories. It's a beautiful way to tell a story, express emotions, and preserve the beauty of the world around you. World Photography Day is a day when we pay tribute to this incredible art form. On August 19, View Finder's club of St. Peter's celebrated the day with an array of programs. An insightful session by Sri Suresh Keezhillam, an eminent media person, with the students of classes 6–8 was truly inspiring. He talked about the immense possibilities of photography in today's world as a career, even for women.

A four-minute documentary on the evolution of the camera proved enlightening to the students. Our short film, which won the second prize in Fresco, was played. Different camera models were exhibited. The awardees of the intra school photography competition were honoured on the occasion.
