World Kindness Day

"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions and the roots spring up and make new trees.”

World Kindness Day , observed annually on November 13 , promotes acts of kindness to foster compassion, empathy, and goodwill worldwide. This day encourages people and societies across the world to engage in acts of big or small kindness to make a more compassionate and peaceful world.

To celebrate the spirit of spreading kindness, peterians observed World Kindness Day with tremendous zeal and fervor. The efforts of  grade 5 students connected to World Kindness Day were spread far and wide when they filled the pot of kindness 🪄with their random acts of kindness. The activity really helped the students to understand the powerful ripple effect that acts of kindness can have on an individual, a community and the world as a whole. The students of grade 4 were sensitised by grade 5 volunteers to radiate kindness and happiness by  helping a friend in need, spreading smiles and laughter in people’s lives and never doing any harm to others intentionally. Aimed at spreading the spirit of kindness amongst the students, the week-long activities embraced a powerful reminder “Be Kind Wherever Possible.”
