School Senate Election

The school senate election 2023-24 was declared on 9th June 2023 by the Principal, Mrs. Sonia Susan Varkey. 

The last date to receive the nominations was 13th June 2023 before 8.30 AM. 

After the screening process by the School Senate Approval committee, the final list of the candidates was announced by the Principal in the morning assembly on 15th June 2023. 

The Student Senate Election for 2023-24 was held on 16th June 2023 to democratize governance and leadership roles within the school. It provided an opportunity to the students of Grades 8 to 12 to witness and exercise their Fundamental Right to vote.  

The candidates for the various coveted positions read out their manifestos in the ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forum, trying to convince their classmates and teachers that they are the right choice for the position. 

Soon after that, the students exercised their franchise by choosing the candidates of their choice electronically. Finally, the most awaited results were declared by the Principal, Mrs Sonia Susan Varkey. 

The whole election process was done by the Social Science, Commerce and Computer Science Departments.
