Eco Club Trip - HILLPALACE

On behalf of World tourism day, 27th September 2022, 38 students from Eco club along with three teachers went for a field trip to Hill Palace Museum, Thripunithura with an objective to promote tourism and to enjoy the natural ecosystem of the place.

Spread over 54 acres, the biggest botanical garden in the state supplies breeds of rare trees like the old man tree, banyan and mahagony. The versatile vegetation spread around the historical palace is actually an oxygen hub. The campus of the museum is a home for several rare medicinal plants. Apart from the archeological and heritage museum it also features a deer park, children’s park and a pre-historic park. In the campus area we can also spot a pond.
