CHILDREN'S DAY

Children's Day is celebrated across India to raise awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children. It is celebrated on the birthday of the First Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children.The Primary wing of St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, kadayiruppu celebrated the Children's Day on 14th November 2022 with much pomp and show.

A surprise treat was given to the students by the teachers. They sang songs, delivered an influential speech and presented a puppet show for the little ones. The students were engaged with games and various other activities in their classroom.

During the morning assembly, Eva Mary Anian of Class 7 delivered a speech on Children's Day. The children paid homage to their Chachaji and it became a memorable day for the little peterians.
