Inter House Basketball Championship

The Inter House Basketball Championship for the academic year 2024-25 was organized by the Department of Physical Education at St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu, from 7th to 9th September 2024. Prior to the event, a meeting was held with all house in-charges to finalize the fixtures for both boys' and girls' matches. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all houses, and a total of eight matches were played over the course of three days.

The results of the matches were as follows:

In the boys' category, Integrity secured a resounding victory against Respect with a score of 22-04.

In the girls' category, Responsibility triumphed over Compassion, winning with a score of 10-02.

The boys' match between Responsibility and Compassion saw Compassion emerge victorious with a score of 15-05.

In another girls' match, Respect defeated Integrity with a score of 06-02.

The boys' losers' finals for third place was a nail-biting contest, with Responsibility edging past Respect 13-12.

In the girls' match between Compassion and Integrity, Integrity secured an easy win with a score of 08-02.

The girls' final between Responsibility and Respect was closely contested, with Responsibility winning 04-02 and claiming the championship title.

The boys' final saw a thrilling battle between Integrity and Compassion, with Compassion narrowly defeating Integrity 12-10 to lift the championship trophy.

All the matches were played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, reflecting the competitive spirit of the students. The event concluded successfully, with each team demonstrating dedication and teamwork throughout the tournament.

The Department of Physical Education was instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event, making it a memorable and well-organized competition for all involved.

In a thrilling display of skill, teamwork, and determination, Compassion House emerged as the champions of the Boys' Inter House Basketball Championship 2024-25, securing 1st Place. Integrity House followed closely, claiming 2nd Place with commendable sportsmanship, while Responsibility House finished strong in 3rd Place, showcasing resilience and dedication. Congratulations to all the teams for their outstanding performances!
