On September 6, 2024, students from Legal Studies and Politics visited the High Court in Ernakulam, accompanied by their subject in-charges. After completing formalities, they gained access to the court by 10:30 AM.
The highlights of the visit included:
- Observing court proceedings led by Justices Shoba Annamma Eapen, Devan Ramachandran and Sophy Thomas.
- A meeting with Director General of Prosecution T.A. Shaji, who shared valuable insights on his career, essential qualities for lawyers, and notable cases
- Gaining a deeper understanding of the legal system, judicial integrity, and women's rights
This transformative experience enhanced their critical thinking, communication, and discussion skills.
