As part of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, on 9th October, the students of Class 4 actively participated in a "Swachh Bharat" initiative at home, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's vision of cleanliness.
This activity successfully encouraged Class 4 students to participate in household cleaning, internalizing the importance of cleanliness. The initiative fostered responsibility, discipline and family collaboration, aligning with Gandhi's ideals.

Gandhi Jayanthi, celebrated on October 2nd, honours Mahatma Gandhi's legacy and his principles of non-violence and truth. St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School marked this national festival with a series of enriching activities across grade levels, encouraging students to embody Gandhian values.
Activities Overview:
Classes 1 & 2: Young students wrote brief essays on Mahatma Gandhi, guided by teachers to reflect on his life and values. This helped instill early respect and understanding for national leaders.
Classes 3, 4 & 5: Inspired by Gandhiji’s emphasis on cleanliness, students undertook a cleanliness drive at home, demonstrating responsibility and self-reliance by organizing their spaces and aiding household tasks.
Classes 6, 7 & 8: Through pencil drawings and sketches, students artistically expressed Gandhiji’s essence, producing diverse portrayals from iconic images to symbolic scenes.
Classes 9 & 10: Students created collages using images, quotes, and symbols of peace, deeply exploring Gandhi’s enduring legacy through this collaborative project.
The celebration offered students a profound connection to Gandhiji’s values, blending creativity with practical life lessons. This event was a tribute to the Father of the Nation, reinforcing unity, peace, and responsibility among the young learners.
