Annual Athletic Meet 2024

St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu, celebrated its Annual Athletic Meet on November 16, 2024, with unbridled enthusiasm, fostering unity, teamwork, and athletic excellence. The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer, led by the school choir, invoking divine blessings upon the vibrant gathering.

A majestic march past followed, showcasing esteemed senate members followed by house captains proudly representing their respective houses alongside the elegantly attired equestrian team.The equestrian team participated in the march past, showcasing their riding skills and discipline. The Annual Sports Day reached new heights as three skilled equestrians dazzled the crowd with their expertise. Their synchronized routines, precise maneuvers, and heartfelt connections with their horses created an awe-inspiring spectacle, forever etching the equestrian display in the memories of all who witnessed it.

Renowned athlete Ms.Ancy Sojan Edappally enthralled the gathering with her illustrious achievements, including an Asian Games silver medal and National U-21 Long Jump Record. Her inspiring address emphasized sports' vital role in shaping young minds, highlighting discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.

The torch relay symbolized the Olympic spirit, followed by the prestigious Sports Excellence Awards and captivating performances, including display dance, karate demonstrations, and flash mob

In the keenly contested track and field events, Respect House emerged triumphant with an impressive 426 points. Responsibility House secured the first runner-up position with 382 points, while Integrity House claimed the second runner-up spot with 332 points.

Individual champions received prizes in various categories, recognizing their exceptional talent and dedication.

The event's resounding success reflected St. Peter's Senior Secondary School's unwavering commitment to excellence and its dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. 

Secretary Aju Jacob, Principal Narayanan Sir, Head HR Maya Nair,  Vice principal Ranjana G Menon, KG Head Mary Margaret and Head of pedagogy and new initiatives Dr. Maria Sophia graced the occasion, lending prestige to the momentous celebration.
