Celebrating Tribal Heritage: 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda

Our school commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a legendary tribal leader and freedom fighter, with great enthusiasm and reverence. This event honoured his significant contributions to India's struggle for independence and the upliftment of tribal communities.

Activities Conducted:

1. Morning Assembly Speech

A senior student delivered an inspiring speech during the school assembly, highlighting Birsa Munda's life, achievements, and role as a social reformer. The speech emphasized his relentless efforts to fight against oppression and injustice.

1. Seminar by Class 8 Students

Class 8 students organized a comprehensive seminar on Birsa Munda's legacy. Presentations covered his early life, challenges, leadership in the Ulgulan movement, and enduring impact on Indian society. Students stressed the importance of preserving tribal heritage.

Students created colourful and informative charts showcasing key moments from Birsa Munda's life, important quotes, and illustrations of the tribal culture he protected.
