Amidst a kaleidoscope of colors, mesmerizing performances, and heartfelt tributes, St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu, celebrated its senior annual day- PETERIAN PANACHE 2024 with unparalleled fervor and enthusiasm. The event, "CHAINS TO CHANTS," was a poignant ode to the eternal spirit of "Mother India," weaving a rich narrative that resonated deeply with the hearts of all present.
The grand celebration commenced with a soul-stirring tribute to India's glorious past, as the stories of pre-independence heroes Begum Hazrat Mahal, Sarojini Naidu, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Mahatma Gandhi were brought to life. The audience was transported to an era of struggle and sacrifice, as the iconic figures' unwavering dedication to India's freedom was showcased.
The captivating dance drama performed by the students shed light on post-independence issues, including dowry, corruption,drug abuse, pollution and brain drain . The powerful performance served as a clarion call to action, inspiring the students and audience to assume responsibility for shaping a brighter future for "Mother India."
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Jiji Thomson, Secretary Aju Jacob, Principal PS Narayanan, Head HR Maya Nair, Vice Principal Ranjana G Menon, Head of Pedagogy and New Initiatives Dr. Maria Sophia and KG&Pre KG Head Mary Margaret. Their esteemed presence lent an aura of prestige to the momentous celebration.
As the annual day celebration drew to a close, the students showcased their vibrant talents through a kaleidoscope of cultural performances, replete with music, dance, and drama.
