National Reading Day, themed “Today a Reader is Tomorrow a Leader,” commenced in the lower primary grades with a motivational message from the Pedagogy Department, followed by storytelling and reading sessions during circle time. The day saw Grade 2 students identifying two- and three-letter words from newspaper cuttings. Grade 3 children enjoyed enriching group readings, library visits, and bookmark-making activities. Grade 4 students were engaged in reading circles, book reviews, and creating bookmarks. Grade 5 students participated in loud buddy readings, book hunts, and bookmark-making, fostering a love for reading across all grades.
