The 'World Space Week' is celebrated every year between October 4 and October 10 to commemorate the launch of Sputnik - 1- earth's first artificial satellite.
The Science department of St.Peter's Senior Secondary School organized an inter house quiz competition - Gaze the Space on 10th October 2022.
Master Dion Reji ( Top scorer - SSCE March 2022) was the quiz master. Six teams from six houses participated in the competition. House of Joy won the first position, House of Righteousness won the second position and House of Wisdom won the third position respectively.

As part of World Space Week the Science department of St.Peter's Senior Secondary School organized an interactive session for the science stream students of Class Xl on 11th October 2022.
The resource person Sri. Ramachandra Rao ( Senior Scientist - APEP) led the session on the topic 'Space and Sustainability' and also highlighted the importance of preserving the ecological balance. The session created an interest for the students and was interactive with active students' participation.
Kindergarteners were given an opportunity to explore more about the heavenly bodies as they celebrated Space week. An array of events were presented by the little ones as part of the observance.
