Blue Day with Baby Beluga
Today we celebrated Blue Day in kindergarten and the children were very excited and happy.
The day started with a storytelling session about Baby Beluga, the friendly white whale. Children learned that the beluga is a special sea animal — often called the "only white whale" — Beluga whales that live in the icy cold regions of the Arctic Circle are endangered species that are on the verge of extinction Kids learned how we need to protect marine life. Through the story and songs the kids understood the importance of caring for our oceans and the animals that live in them.
Following the story, the children enjoyed a craft activity on Baby Beluga. They made cute beluga whale crafts using blue and white materials, and wore their baby beluga hats. The classroom was filled with creativity and excitement as they brought the underwater theme to life.
Overall, it was a joyful day of learning, fun, and awareness about our ocean friends. 🌊
