Young yogis in action! SKG students brought energy and grace to the Yoga for Health, Happiness and Harmony assembly. Anchored by Ms. Reshna and Jai Swapnah, the event began with a Thought for the Day and the importance of yoga for a healthy body and calm mind.
Reji Sir handling the sports led the Mass Yoga Session starting with Tadasana, where all KG students and teachers joined in. Children then performed individual asanas like Vrikshasana, Trikonasana, and Padmasana, followed by partner demos of Cobra Pose and Double-Tree Pose, and a confident group formation by the Yoga Team.
Everyone repeated the Yoga Pledge to practice regularly and stay healthy. The assembly ended with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
Little yogis showed wonderful balance, discipline, and teamwork.
