The three-day cultural fest of St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School, Sylvan Symphony 2026, was inaugurated with much enthusiasm and musical splendour by renowned playback singer Mr. Ganesh Sundaram at the school auditorium.
The chief guest received a melodious welcome from the school’s young Nightingales, who presented a medley of his popular songs. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking the beginning of the three-day celebration of art, music and creativity.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Ganesh Sundaram congratulated the school management and authorities for fostering an environment that encourages children to explore and develop their artistic talents. He particularly praised the school for organising an arts fest that provides state-level opportunities for students and commended the valuable exposure offered to young talents. He also motivated the students to nurture their interests, pursue their artistic journeys with dedication and confidence, and continue to express themselves through the arts.
A soulful song recital by Mr. Ganesh Sundaram, accompanied by the school’s music teacher Kumari Bhavana Vijayan, captivated the audience. A specially choreographed dance performance added further colour and grandeur to the occasion and was another highlight of the inaugural ceremony.
The event was attended by members of the school leadership team, teachers and students, who joined in celebrating the commencement of the much-awaited cultural fest.
The inauguration set an energetic and artistic tone for Sylvan Symphony 2026, bringing the Peterian community together in a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and culture.
