Seventy years ago, on 1st November 1956, all Malayalam-speaking lands joined to become one beautiful home - KERALA. This year, our Full Kindergarten celebrated her 70th Piravi in the most special way - completely in Malayalam!
For one day, English took a little rest. Our prayer, pledge and welcome were all in our mother tongue. When the Full Kindergarten sang together in Malayalam, the whole campus felt proud. Our little stars reminded us that every day brings new hope. They introduced the Malayalam week with a sweet song and bright smiles.
Kerala's Colour Box: How colourful is Kerala? Our children showed us. Green like paddy fields, Yellow like Kanikonna, Red like hibiscus flowers. Nature is Kerala's own crayon box that makes our land beautiful.
Where is Kerala? Our explorers found her on the India Map - at the bottom, like a green chilli! They proudly shared her specialities - the Elephant, the Great Hornbill, the Coconut tree, Kanikonna and Jackfruit.
Official symbols - Kerala’s rich natural and cultural heritage is reflected in its official state symbols.
When Kerala Danced: The finale was pure magic. Our children became Kerala itself - one swaying like a coconut tree, one gliding like a backwater boat, one twirling like a Kathakali dancer. It was not just a dance; it was Kerala dancing before us. The celebration ended, but one thought stayed - Kerala is not just a place, it is a feeling of home.
Happy 70th Birthday, Amma Kerala!
Ente Keralam, Ethra Sundaram!
