Peterian Sports Arena

St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayirippu, marked a historic milestone with the grand inauguration of the Peterian Sports Arena, a state-of-the-art sports complex that reflects the institution's unwavering commitment to holistic education and sporting excellence. The inaugural ceremony was held on 1 August 2026 in the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries, members of the school management, staff, parents, students and well-wishers.

The sports arena was inaugurated by Shri Roji M. John, Hon. Minister for Higher Education, Government of Kerala. Shri V. P. Sajeendran, Hon. MLA, Kunnathunadu Constituency, digitally unveiled the official name of the arena, 'Petersphere', a name thoughtfully suggested by Master Rohn Kurian Abraham of Grade IX A.

 Principal, Mr. R. K. Moses welcomed the August gathering. Mr. Jose John, President of St. Peter's Education Trust, delivered the Presidential Address, while Mr. Aju Jacob, Secretary of the Trust, presented the vision and distinctive features of the Peterian Sports Arena. The occasion also honoured Mr. Sunil and Mr. Alby Works Supervisors, with a cash award presented by Mr. Giby Thomas, Treasurer of the Trust, in recognition of their dedicated contribution to the successful completion of the project.

The ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Sunilkumar Appunuttan Pillai, the Head of the PE Dept,  followed by the National Anthem and the inaugural match, marking the beginning of a new era in the sporting journey of St. Peter's Senior Secondary School. The Peterian Sports Arena - Petersphere stands as a symbol of the school's vision to nurture discipline, teamwork, resilience and sporting excellence, inspiring generations of young athletes to dream, strive and achieve.
