"Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future."
Embracing the spirit of environmental consciousness, the school celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” Spearheaded by the Eco Club, the programme inspired students to reaffirm their commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable living.
The day commenced with a thematic assembly that served as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve the natural environment.
A special programme was organised for the students of Grades VII, VIII and IX to further strengthen their commitment to environmental conservation. The programme was graced by Sri P. R. Raghavan, Retired Associate Professor, SSV College, Valayanchirangara, and Chairman, District Committee of Education, Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad, as the Chief Guest. In his insightful address, he spoke on environmental protection, climate change and sustainable living, urging students to become environmentally conscious citizens and active contributors to a greener planet.
A sapling-planting ceremony was also organised as part of the celebration, symbolising the school's continued commitment to nurturing a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. The initiative served as a reminder that every tree planted today contributes to a healthier and greener tomorrow.
As the programme drew to a close, it left behind a powerful message—that every small action taken today can shape a greener tomorrow. The celebration not only deepened students’ appreciation for nature but also strengthened their resolve to become responsible stewards of the environment. With renewed commitment and hope, the school community reaffirmed its pledge to work towards a sustainable future for generations to come.
