Sylvan Symphony , the two day-long Cultural Extravaganza 2022 - 23 was truly a feast to the eyes. It was inaugurated by Miss Femina George, Minnal Murali fame on 26th August . Around *1500 students competed in 98 competitions both on stage and off stage.
The students of AV Club along with the Photography and Digital Film making( Fine Arts Dept) had an interactive session with the crew behind the upcoming Malayalam fantasy-horror-mystery movie 'Beyond the Seven Seas'.
23rd August,2022, Tuesday was a great day for Class 5 students at St.Peter’s. They arranged an exhibition for the topic ‘Materials used in the past’ in accordance with their Social Science learning.
They explored a lot to collect exhibits that were used in our homes for cooking, dining, and measurement.
The Inter House Football competitions for Under - 19 and Under - 14 boys category were held in St.Peter's Senior Secondary School, kadayiruppu on 25th July 2022 and 16th August 2022 respectively.
The competition was inaugurated by the Principal Mrs. Sonia Susan Varkey.
The Independence Day has a great importance in every citizen's life. This day reminds us that freedom is sacred and as citizens we must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered.
On 15th of August our school celebrated the 75th year of independence.

A Special assembly programme was conducted by the students of classes 11 and 12 in which i a speech on International Youth Day was delivered by Lucy Pradeep of 12 B, Alna V George of 11 A recited a poem depicting the theme, a few quotes on power of youth were shared by Maleeha Nazeer of 12 D and an inspiring song on 'Dreams' was sung by Jesvi Maria Biju of 12B.

Health club of St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School conducted an awareness class on Online Gaming and Addiction for boys of 5th to 8th grade classes. The classes were planned as division wise in their classrooms. It was conducted on 26/07/2022, Tuesday from, 9.10 am – 11.10 am.
The team who had taken the classes in different divisions of 5th to 8th grade classes were Health Club Members; Ms. Hain Anna Jain (Secretary, Health Club), Ms. Niya Sabu (Secretary, Health Club), Mr. Nandakishore K.H, Mr. Atul Shenoy, Mr. Muhammed Zaahir, Mr. Noel Saji, Mr. Afnan Salam, Mr. Shankar Muraleedhar,Mr.Ajay, Ms. Sradha P,V, and Ms. Mariam Benni from 9th and 11 grade classes.
Menstrual hygiene management (MHM) is an essential aspect of hygiene for women and adolescent girls between menarche and menopause. Good menstrual hygiene is essential for the health and dignity of girls and women. Discussions on menstrual hygiene are important for adolescent girls to clarify existing myths and misconceptions around menstruation. Improving menstrual hygiene is important from the point of view of personal comfort and increased mobility.
Tigers are one of the species that are nearing extinction. To raise awareness among students, individuals and organisations about the importance of the conservation of tigers St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu observed International Tiger Day on 29th July 2022 based on the theme ' India launches Project Tiger to revive the tiger population'.

As a baby step towards spreading awareness about using paper in place of plastics, students of grades 7 & 8 were instructed to make paper bags using used newspaper sheets.
To acknowledge and honour doctors' efforts, contributions and sacrifices for the community and inspire the new generation to take up this noble profession, St. Peter's Senior Secondary School observed National Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2022.
The greatest International Day dedicated for the conservation of the planet is World Environment Day. The slogan of the campaign, 2022 is "Only One Earth" with the emphasis on 'Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature'.
