St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School delivered an outstanding performance at the K. M. Munshi Memorial Athletic Meet 2025, securing the 1st Runner-Up Trophy with an impressive medal tally of 13 Gold, 1 Silver and 9 Bronze medals, totalling 139 points. The meet showcased the depth of talent and sportsmanship of our students across track and field events in multiple age categories.
In the Under‑17 Girls category, Abida Basil and Elizabeth Jose emerged as Individual Champions, each winning two individual Gold medals along with Gold in the 4x400 m relay, while Abida also struck Gold in Long Jump and High Jump and Niya Mariya Jobin claimed Gold in Discus Throw. The Under‑17 girls’ 4x100 m relay team of Saira Varghese, Elizabeth Jose, Abida Basil and Gia Mariam George added another Gold, and Akshara Anoop contributed Bronze medals in the 800 m and 400 m events, with Hevin C Jain earning a Silver and a Gold in the 100 m and Triple Jump in the Under‑17 Boys section.
Our junior athletes were equally impressive, with Chrisin Basil Thampi and Alisha Vinod being declared Individual Champions in the Under‑10 Boys and Girls respectively after securing two individual Gold medals each and anchoring their teams to Gold in the 4x400 m relay. The Under‑10 category also witnessed Gold medals from Chrisin in the 100 m and Long Jump, and from Alisha in the 100 m and 50 m, supported by a relay Gold for the girls’ 4x100 m team of Joanna Zacharia, Eva Eliza Binu, Alisha Vinod and Andreena Shijo and a relay Bronze for the boys’ 4x100 m squad of Ashwin Jitheesh, Jerome Kevin, Chrisin Basil Thampi and Rohan Antony Siby.
In the Under‑12 and Under‑14 groups, Alhan Jennath won Gold in Long Jump while Niya Mary Jaimon, Mathew Eldhose and Estrella Binoy secured Bronze medals in High Jump and Long Jump, further boosting the school’s tally. Additional podium finishes came from Mathew George and Jerome Kevin with Bronze medals in High Jump and 100 m in the Under‑10 Boys, underlining the consistency of our athletes across divisions.
