Charting the Future: Commerce and Humanities Students Gain Career Insights
A Career Guidance Session for the students of Grades 11 and 12 from the Commerce and Humanities streams was held on 24th October 2025 at the CVJ Auditorium. The session was organized by the Kerala Commerce Forum in association with Logic School of Management. The resource person, Mr. Jeevan G, Academic Trainer at Logic School of Management, shared his expertise on professional courses and career planning for commerce students.
Mr. Jeevan emphasized the importance of making informed career choices and understanding one’s strengths and interests in today’s competitive world. He provided valuable insights into various career paths and higher education options, including B.Com, BBA, CA, CS, CMA, CFA, and international programs such as ACCA and CPA. The session also explored emerging fields like digital marketing, e-commerce, and data analytics, alongside traditional and professional courses in accountancy, finance, management, law, banking, and insurance.
The interactive session encouraged students to actively participate and seek guidance on their career aspirations. Mr. Jeevan addressed their queries with practical advice, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities available and the skills required to succeed.
The session proved to be highly informative and inspiring, broadening students’ perspectives on career possibilities in the commerce and humanities streams. It was well received by all participants, who appreciated the insights and guidance provided. Overall, the program was a great success, equipping students with the knowledge and motivation to make confident, well-informed decisions about their future.
