A Symphony of Talent and Togetherness
The Kochi Sahodaya Kalotsav 2025 unfolded with grandeur and grace at our school — the proud host of this year’s vibrant celebration of art, culture, and creativity. The event radiated the spirit of unity, artistry, and youthful exuberance as the campus came alive with colour, rhythm, and expression.
The inaugural ceremony began with a soulful prayer by the school choir, invoking divine blessings for the three-day celebration of talent. Mr. R. K. Moses, Principal of our school, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, followed by an inspiring presidential address by Mr. Vinu Mon K. Mathew, President of Kochi Sahodaya and Principal of Cochin Refineries School.
The lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Mr. Aju Jacob, Managing Director of Synthite Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Secretary of St. Peter’s Education Trust, marked the formal inauguration. In his keynote address, he commended the Sahodaya fraternity for nurturing young minds through platforms that promote creativity and collaboration. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Prathiba V, Secretary of Kochi Sahodaya and Principal of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The following days witnessed a vibrant display of artistic brilliance and cultural splendour, as students from across Kochi showcased their immense talent and imagination.
The Valedictory Function, held on 5 October 2025 at the SS Block Auditorium, marked a graceful culmination to the festival. Presided over by Mr. Vinu Mon K. Mathew, the event was graced by Sahodaya officials, principals, and teachers from various member schools. Mrs. Prathiba V extended a warm welcome, while Mrs. Parvathy E, Treasurer of Kochi Sahodaya, expressed gratitude through the Vote of Thanks. Mr. Aju Jacob also attended the event.
The prize distribution ceremony honoured the winners across categories. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar emerged as the Second Runner-up, Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad as the First Runner-up, and Toc H Public School, Vyttila was crowned the Overall Champion.
As the curtains fell on Kalotsav 2025, what remained was the melody of togetherness, the rhythm of creativity, and the joy of shared success — a true Symphony of Talent and Togetherness.
