Two-Day Experimental Workshop for Class XII Students
A two-day interactive experimental workshop titled “INNspire – Experiment, Innovate, Discover”, organised by NIT Calicut, offered an enriching and engaging learning experience for the students of Class XII. Forty students from Classes XII A and XII C participated in the programme, accompanied by Mrs. Sandhya N., Head of the Department of Physics; Mrs. Mridula Rajan, Head of the Department of Biology; Mr. Dileep T.K., Head of the Department of Chemistry; Mrs. Shiny Harris, Head of the Department of Computer Science; and Mr. Aneesh Mohan, ATL Instructor.
The workshop provided students with an opportunity to move beyond textbooks and explore the practical dimensions of learning. Through live demonstrations, guided activities, technical discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, students engaged with concepts through experimentation and hands-on application.
The sessions fostered active participation, collaborative problem-solving and the exchange of ideas, helping students strengthen their conceptual understanding and practical skills. Interactions with domain experts and peers further enriched their learning, providing valuable technical exposure and fresh perspectives.
With its engaging sessions, well-paced delivery and experiential approach, INNspire proved to be a meaningful learning experience, inspiring students to question, experiment, innovate and discover.
