HINDI DIWAS

On 14th September 2022 the Peterians commemorated Hindi Diwas to spread awareness and spark the little minds about the beauty of Hindi Language and the rich historical importance it has. The commemoration was kick-started with the morning assembly which was completely done in Hindi. The school senate played their role by taking the nation pledge in our official language with other events including a geeth [Hindi Vathan ki Bindhi] written and composed by Mrs. Supriya Manoj from the Hindi department. The seventh graders paraded their love of Hindi through their rhythmic movements. Vishal Prasad of IX-C enlightened his peers on women empowerment by reciting a poem in Hindi.

Any celebration does not end in a formal function; it lasts forever in the life of the celebrants. Various activities were hosted to give the students a lasting memory of deep understanding of the language. Badges were made and distributed among the students. Posters were designed and the auditorium was festooned with amusing artworks in Hindi. Individual activities like Postcard designing and Soochana Lekhan were also conducted. The students did not limit their imagination in paper, but used digital platforms like advertisements to display the importance of Hindi.
