International Tiger Day 2022

Tigers are one of the species that are nearing extinction. To raise awareness among students, individuals and organisations about the importance of the conservation of tigers St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu observed International Tiger Day on 29th July 2022 based on the theme ' India launches Project Tiger to revive the tiger population'.

To promote and to encourage all to take appropriate action to save Tigers, the little buddies of classes 3 to 5 conducted a special assembly on 'Save Tigers'. Students wore tiger masks, exhibited tiger conservation badges and some of them were dressed like tigers even. The spectacular performances of the students encouraged their fellow friends to understand the dire necessity of conserving the wild life.

A video was shown for classes 3 to 12 by Eco - club and Science- club. The video provided an insight into the important facts about tigers and their pivotal role in balancing and maintaining the eco system.
